The “Disability Zone,” which most people mistakenly call "normal aging," comes later in life. But don’t for a minute think that what you do now or what you don’t do now doesn’t have an impact on when you enter the “Disability Zone.”

If you look at this chart above, the solid line represents an inactive lifestyle. This solid line shows a gradual decline or heading toward the “Disability Zone.” The person above would enter the “Disability Zone” around age 65. But we all know people who have entered the “Disability Zone” before 65.

That’s what makes what you do now so important. For example, a "Bio Intervention," which is nothing more than beginning to participate in some aerobic and strength-building exercise and to make some changes to one’s diet, quickly alters the slope of the decline into the “Disability Zone.”

In the example above, simply adding some aerobic and strength-building exercise along with a better diet extended a person’s time away from the “Disability Zone” by 20 years. Amazing!
